DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SECURITY LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM USING MOBILE PHONE

ABSTRACT

This project aims at the design and construction of a security lighting control system using a mobilephone to serve as a remote control to control security lights. The device is made up of four mainunits. The mobile phone which is serving as a transmitter for remotely controlling the securitylights. The GSM modem serves as the receiver. A sim card is placed in the GSM modem andall messages from the transmitter are sent to that mobile number. The microcontroller unitprocesses the information extracts the message from the GSM modem and processes it. Then iteither puts on a pin or leaves it off. The switching unit is responsible for putting on or off the bulbdepending on the output from the microcontroller.Upon completion of the project, it was tested and it worked properly. “light_on” puts on the bulb, and “light_off” puts off the bulb. Thus an effective and reliable security lighting control systemusing a mobile phone was realized.

CHAPTER  ONE

INTRODUCTION 1.1 Introduction

This age of information technology has red we can communicate with our friends, famil distant location. But the application of mo and calling our friends. It could be home appliances. Managing of several homes interest and which has seen much development for lots of improvement we made a breakthrough

An excellent application of these is the con university. The system allows the opera mobile phone by sending SMS messages to contact message is received and processed and the r messages also known as instant messages all economic rate. This gives a great degree of the control room and put on / off the secure

The system is made of a microcontroller which GSM modules which are the client module and connected to the microcontroller. The serv used to send the message. The client module extracts the message. The message is being necessary operation performed.

1.2  Statement  of  Problem

The conventional means of switching on and schools can be very tasking. For instance, of all the security lights from Blocks 1-10
